Shanghai January 08

I had been reading in the Shangai Daily paper that, due to the record cold spell in China, mass shipments of coal were being rushed to the power plants to keep up with demand. Apparently in Shanghai, unlike California, the power is mostly generated by coal. What on the Bund riverbank, a coal barge seemed to go by every single minute I was there.
